Complete garden renovation

This listed property required a landscape scheme that worked in sympathy with its character, but also included an adventurous use of the site's sloping profiles.

A ‘cut and fill’ technique enabled the creation of a large sloping bed area with the remaining space levelled and reshaped to form a 200m2 lawn. The back edge of this new lawn slopes away down to a lower boundary of existing trees. Surrounding the large patio are four raised stone planters.

The inviting use of all-year-round planting furnishes these natural stone beds perfectly, and the new bed areas, all of which are finished off with low key lighting bedded into the natural stone walls, controlled from inside the house.
