Reconstruction of front drive

From the outset this lovely town house was fronted with a large and uninviting concrete slab used as an off road parking area.

The new design incorporated two flank brick walls matching the house on the front and side with retained access onto the new area.

This new drive was laid as Grey Limestone paving and matching setts with a new York Stone step tread with a Victorian style mosaic front door step. Planting beds were created along the house and front walls planted with Small Leaved Holly and a specimen Cotoneaster tree.

Low voltage lighting and irrigation were installed into the new beds. In compliance with current drainage planning conditions the front drive has a water run off collection system and large soak-away.

Approximately 32 tonnes of material were moved in total, 16 tonnes out and 16 tonnes back.
